Our Farm Shop with Butchery, Delicatessen & Animal Area is open seven days a week and located on our Family run farm where we have been producing our own lamb, beef and free range eggs for many years.
During our first nine years, we have won a number of Awards and have been presented with recognition for our farming practices and quality of our own produce as well as the service we provide in our Farm Shop. It is important to us that this level of excellence is maintained.

We are delighted that Mike, our Butchery Manager, has been with us since we opened in 2015 and has increased sales in the butchery year on year, ever since. This growth in business, as well as succession planning, means that we are now very keen to find another full-time, experienced butcher to work with Mike & our Butchery Team to help the business continue to move forward. The role includes the possibility of progression to Butchery Manager within a few years. We are offering a very competitive salary, above industry rate
As a working family-run farm and farm shop, we are proud to showcase our own beef, pork and lamb, and are looking to add to the high level of expertise and extensive knowledge of traditional butchery methods, we currently offer our customers.

To apply for our Full Time Butcher position you must possess:
- – Previous butchery experience with extensive knowledge of all aspects of butchery and meat preparation
- – Experience of working within high street butchers or farm shops
- – The ability to cut and bone carcass meat, prepare a wide range of added value products and ensure an attractive display of quality meat
- – The knowledge to respond to questions and comments from customers, including advice and guidance regarding the most suitable cuts and cooking methods
- – Flexibility to follow working practices, health & safety and food hygiene regulations, policies and procedures and comply with all meat related COSHH and Food Safety legislation.
- – Intermediate food hygiene is desirable
