Our Farm Shop with Butchery, Delicatessen & Animal Area is open seven days a week and located on our Family run farm where we have been producing our own lamb, beef and free range eggs for many years.
During our first ten years, we have won a number of Awards and have been presented with recognition for our farming practices and quality of our own produce as well as the service we provide in our Farm Shop. It is important to us that this level of excellence is maintained.

Job Title: Part Time Deli Assistant
Hours: Average 19.75 Hours a Week
Every Monday, Wednesday & Thursday 10.30am-2.30pm, Every Friday 11am-3pm and Every Other Saturday 8am-4pm
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £12.25/hour (increasing in April ’26)
Location: Court Farm Shop, Stoke Orchard, Cheltenham

We are looking for a Part Time Deli Assistant to join our dedicated team and work behind our popular Deli Counter. The ideal candidate will take pride in their work with customer service, enthusiasm and cookery skill being at the core of what they do
To apply for our Part Time Deli position you must possess:
• Experience of a retail environment, including customer interaction
• Experience of working in a Farm Shop or High Street Deli is desirable but not essential
• Good cooking skills with the ability to prepare a range of fresh breakfast & lunch items as well as Court Farm Kitchen items (e.g. Scotch Eggs, Pork Pies, Pasties, Traybakes, Coleslaw etc) following specific recipes
• Excellent food presentation stills with the ability to prepare and place deli products in display counters, ensuring an attractive display is maintained to catch the customer’s eye
• Experience of serving hot drinks using a barista coffee machine as per customer’s requirements is desirable but not essential (training can be given)
• The ability to ensure excellent health & safety and food hygiene practices
• Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate desirable but not essential (course can be provided)
• Excellent communication, numeracy & literacy skills
• Availability for flexible scheduling to meet the needs of the farm shop & deli including occasional weekend work

Hours: Average of 7.5 Hours a Week – Every Other Saturday 9am-4.30pm and Every Sunday 11am-3pm

We are looking for a confident, enthusiastic person to join our dedicated deli team and be able to:
• Prepare a range of fresh breakfast & lunch items
• Prepare and place deli products in display counters, ensuring an attractive display is maintained to catch the customer’s eye
• Serve hot drinks using a barista coffee machine as per customer’s requirements
• Cut or prepare deli products to specification or to customer’s orders
• Serve customers in a positive, friendly manner
• The ability to follow health & safety and, food hygiene regulations, policies & procedures
Training will be given for the above so previous experience is not essential. However, confidence and the ability to serve customers is key to this role. Flexibility to work extra hours to cover holidays & sickness is a must
