With a history in rearing livestock that stretches back over four generations, our butcher’s counter is the pinnacle of our business and the basis of much of the food we sell in our farm shop.
Most of the livestock our farm produces goes to our in-house butchery. We are passionate about promoting farm, homemade and local produce, bringing both fresh food and farming closer to our customers. Pigs, cattle and sheep are reared on our 180-acre award-winning farm. Bred to the highest standards, the welfare of our animals is of paramount importance, ensuring quality meat with low food miles.
All our meat is matured on the bone to develop wonderful tenderness and flavour, with our in-house team of traditional butchers producing high-quality cuts, expertly crafted to your requirements. Our Head Butcher Mike also aims to support other local farmers & suppliers to ensure we always have a counter full of top quality meat from known and trusted farms.
We make our own homemade faggots, meat balls, burgers and sausages in a variety of flavours and cure our own bacon on site at Court Farm Shop. Following the expansion of our butchery we also make a range ready to cook items including beef wellington, curries, stir-fry, hunter’s chicken, meat loaf and many more tempting goodies.

Our Sausages made it to the FINAL For BEST BRITISH SAUSAGE in the Meat Management Industry Awards and won a Great Taste Award! Orchard Sausage was a Finalist and Toulouse Sausage was Highly Commended! Well done Mike for creating two very special sausages!
